Parsley of the «Russkoye Zastolye» variety is an early-maturing leaf variety with a period from sowing to technical maturity of 55-60 days. Plants form a semi-vertical rosette of leaves up to 40-45 cm high and weighing 60-70 g, consisting of 30-40 large, tender leaves with a pleasant taste and aroma. The leaves are dark green and deeply lobed, giving the greens an attractive appearance. The yield is high — up to 3.5-4.0 kg of greens per square meter per season.
Sowing seeds is recommended in open ground at a depth of about 1 cm in April-May or in October-November, including the possibility of winter sowing at the end of October to the beginning of November for an earlier harvest. For successful cultivation, a sunny area with light, loose, and fertile soil is required. At the stage of two-three true leaves, seedlings are thinned out, and several harvests of greens are made during the summer, after each of which the plants are fed. Regular watering, weeding, and loosening also contribute to good development of the crop.
Parsley «Russkoye Zastolye» is widely used fresh, as well as suitable for drying and making winter seasonings. Due to rapid regrowth after cutting, it allows obtaining several harvests per season. This variety is excellent for growing greens, freezing, and canning, making it a universal and convenient choice for gardeners and vegetable growers.
