Monolith

Monolith — a mid-early hybrid of sweet pepper, intended for cultivation in spring plastic greenhouses and open ground. Technical fruit ripeness occurs within 60-65 days, while biological ripeness is reached after 75-80 days from seedling transplanting. The plant is determinate, with a strong and well-developed leaf canopy that effectively protects fruits from sunburn and promotes their quality formation.

Fruits are large, conical, with a pericarp wall thickness of 10-12 mm and a weight ranging from 150 to 350 grams. In technical ripeness, they have an olive color, and in biological ripeness — a deep red. The fruit skin is strong, ensuring high transportability and storability, allowing them to retain excellent market appearance during long-term transportation and storage. High resistance to thrips and tolerance to major pepper diseases make this hybrid a reliable choice for farmers.

Seedlings are recommended to be transplanted at 55-60 days of age according to the scheme (90-50) x 25-29, corresponding to a planting density of 50-55 thousand plants per hectare, with the possibility of increasing up to 72 thousand plants per hectare. Dense planting helps protect fruits with leaf mass from sunburn and provides mutual support for plants, preventing them from lodging during strong winds and rains. Yield in open ground reaches 70-80 tons per hectare, confirming the high productivity of the hybrid.
