Kampai F1

Kampai F1 is an early hybrid pepper developed by the Dutch company Kitano Seeds. This variety is distinguished by its high early maturity — the vegetative period is about 65-70 days from seedling transplanting. The plant is medium-height, robust, and densely foliated, providing good protection for fruits against sunburn and contributing to resistance against various stress conditions, including temperature fluctuations and hot weather. Kampai F1 is adaptable to open-ground cultivation and shows resistance to common pepper diseases, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers.

The fruits of Kampai F1 are elongated-conical in shape with thick, fleshy walls, measuring 17-20 cm in length and 2.5-3 cm in diameter. The average weight of the fruits is 35-45 grams. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and at biological ripeness, they turn bright red. The pepper has an extremely hot, spicy flavor capable of causing tears even in experienced spice lovers. Due to its spiciness and attractive market appearance, the fruits are widely used both fresh and for processing, drying, canning, and other forms of preservation.

The Kampai F1 hybrid has excellent transportability: fruits retain their flavor and appearance during long-distance transport.
