Pepper Pobeditel

Consistent Yields in Challenging Climates

The breeding program of the "Demetra-Sibir" seed company is traditionally focused on regions with short growing seasons and significant temperature fluctuations. The "Pobeditel" pepper is a flagship variety from their lineup, developed for growers who demand reliability regardless of weather unpredictability. Created by Russian specialists, this variety has established a solid reputation among both hobbyists and commercial farmers who focus on producing heavy, high-quality fruits in regions where traditional cultivation is often risky.

Agrotechnological Specifications

The main value of "Pobeditel" lies in its adaptability. This variety performs consistently well in glass greenhouses, where precise microclimate control is essential, and in open fields, where plants are exposed to natural environmental stressors. The experts at "Demetra-Sibir" have achieved an optimal balance between vegetative growth and fruit set efficiency.

• Type: Sweet pepper.
• Average fruit weight: 200–250 grams.
• Cultivation: Highly versatile for both protected structures and open-field farming.

The 200–250 gram fruit size makes this variety a top choice for both culinary use and commercial sales. The pepper features a thick, fleshy wall, which results in excellent flavor profiles and good post-harvest shelf life. Due to rigorous selection efforts aimed at strengthening plant immunity, the variety exhibits robust resistance to common regional pathogens.

Market Positioning

"Pobeditel" is designed for growers seeking a predictable and efficient outcome. Unlike complex hybrids that may require strict adherence to feeding and light intensity protocols, this variety is forgiving of minor agricultural mistakes. It holds a distinct position as a dependable "workhorse" variety that delivers a stable harvest without the need for excessive chemical protection or intensive temperature management. Within the "Demetra-Sibir" portfolio, this variety reflects their core commitment to quality and the adaptation of plants to northern standards, where resilience remains the most critical trait.
