Pepper DAR ALTAI

Siberian Hardiness for Your Garden

The 'DAR Altaya' variety from the 'Agrofirma Demetra-sibir' breeding program is designed for growers who prioritize stability over flashy, high-maintenance novelties. This pepper variety is defined by its predictable performance, even when climatic conditions are far from ideal.

Key Specifications and Performance

• Maturity: With a growing season of 110 to 120 days, it is a classic mid-season variety that reliably develops flavor and thickness in varying light conditions.
• Fruit Profile: Featuring a conical shape and an average weight of 100-120 grams, the fruits are standardized for easy packing and processing.
• Wall Thickness: At 5-6 mm, the pericarp is thick enough to be juicy, yet firm enough to withstand transport—a common challenge for thinner-walled field varieties.
