Cabbage Enchanted

Leafy greens of Ukrainian breeding

The Charivnytsia variety, developed by the Kyiv Research Station of the UAAS, is a reliable choice for those prioritizing stability and low maintenance in temperate climates. Unlike many transient commercial hybrids, this variety demonstrates remarkable plasticity, successfully adapting to the soil and climatic conditions of various Ukrainian regions, which makes its yield performance highly predictable.

Why it is popular in the fresh produce market

Charivnytsia stands out among its peers due to its resilience against temperature fluctuations and typical brassica-related stress factors. It is specifically intended for the fresh market segment, where both product volume and the aesthetic quality of the foliage are crucial. The taste profile is well-balanced: the leaves feature a tender texture without excessive toughness, making them perfect for salads, traditional cabbage rolls, and vitamin-rich side dishes.

Who should choose Charivnytsia?

This variety is ideal for farms aiming to supply local retail and farmers' markets, as well as for home gardeners seeking proven results without complex intensive cultivation protocols. Charivnytsia does not require high-tech farming—it responds well to standard agricultural practices, requiring only timely irrigation and protection from pests. Its primary advantage is the consistent reliability provided by domestic breeding that has been tested over time.
