PLAYTIME is a medium-maturing hybrid of hot pepper, intended for cultivation under film coverings. The plant is semi-spreading, reaching up to 110 cm in height and forming two stems, which ensures ease of care and harvesting. The pods have a narrow conical shape, 7–7.5 cm long, with a wall thickness of 2.5–3 mm and an average fruit weight of 17–20 g. In technical maturity, the fruits are green and highly spicy, turning red as they ripen, losing spiciness and acquiring a sweet-spicy flavor.
This variety is distinguished by high commercial yield — 2.3–2.5 kg per square meter, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. PLAYTIME is resistant to diseases and produces generous yields of glossy, high-quality fruits. Thanks to its unique combination of spiciness and aroma, the fruits are widely used fresh, dried, or ground as a spice for soups, sauces, meat dishes, and canned goods.
The hybrid was developed by LLC "YOUR FARM" and included in the State Register for the Volga-Vyatka region. Its medium maturity — approximately 115–120 days from mass seedlings to the first harvest — allows effective planning of agronomic activities and ensures stable results. PLAYTIME combines high productivity, disease resistance, and unique taste qualities, making it a worthy choice for both enthusiasts and professionals.
