Rijk Zwaan’s Dutch breeding expertise ensures high adaptability, and "Hein" is no exception: the hybrid demonstrates exceptional performance across various climatic conditions and growing technologies.

Agronomic Specifications

This mid-maturing hybrid features a growth cycle of 75–80 days. The blocky shape, measuring 11x11 cm, ensures excellent transportability and an attractive retail appearance. With an average weight of 160–190 grams and a wall thickness of 5–6 mm, "Hein" offers the balanced flavor profile characteristic of premium sweet peppers.

Ripening and Commercial Utility

The color progression is particularly beneficial for growers: the pepper transitions from a light-yellow technical maturity to either a vibrant orange or deep red biological maturity. This allows farmers to flexibly schedule harvests based on market demand. Due to its sturdy skin, "Hein" maintains its market quality during long-distance transportation, making it a preferred choice for large-scale commercial operations serving the fresh market.
