Description Violanta
Cabbage variety Violanta is a medium-maturing delicacy with a maturation period of 105 to 125 days, intended for autumn harvest. The plant forms a round-convex head of deep purple color, weighing from 0.5 to 1.5 kilograms depending on growing conditions. Leaves are oval-shaped with bluish-green tinge and light-purple veins, and stems of medium thickness are light-purple. The flesh is white, tender and juicy, with a delicate aroma and excellent taste.

The variety is characterized by high cold resistance and moisture-loving nature, yet requires fertile soils to achieve maximum yield. With proper agronomy, one square meter can yield 2.2 to 2.6 kilograms of high-quality harvest. The plant forms a semi-vertical rosette of medium size with a diameter of 50-70 centimeters, and spacing between plants is recommended at 40x30 centimeters for optimal growth.

Violanta cabbage is versatile in use: it is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. It is used in home cooking for vegetable stews, side dishes, soups, and also for freezing. The variety is well-suited for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, expanding its cultivation possibilities.
