FIRST OF ROMANTZOV

Pepper variety "First of Romantsov" is an early-maturing and fast-maturing variety developed by the Western Siberian Vegetable Experimental Station. From emergence to technical maturity it takes about 105-120 days, and to biological maturity — 125-130 days. The plant has a bushy, low-growing, and sparingly branched form, which adapts well to various growing conditions, ensuring stable yields both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The fruits of this variety have a cube-shaped form with a drooping position, weighing from 100 to 400 grams depending on growing conditions. In technical maturity, they are dark green, and in biological maturity — bright red with a wall thickness of 8-10 mm. The leaves are large, green, and slightly wrinkled. The taste of fresh fruits is excellent, making this variety suitable for both fresh consumption and canning. A distinctive feature of this variety is its high vitamin C content — up to 160 mg per 100 grams of fruit, enhancing its nutritional value. The yield of marketable fruits under plastic coverings reaches 3.0-5.3 kg per square meter. Due to its adaptability and stable productivity, "First of Romantsov" is an excellent choice for home gardens and open ground.
