Description
The EGOZA YELLOW pepper variety is a decorative, compact, and very low-growing plant with small dark green leaves. Its conical fruits point upwards, giving the plant an attractive appearance. This medium-maturing variety can be grown both outdoors and under plastic coverings, as well as in pots on balconies or indoors, making it versatile for various cultivation methods.
The fruits are short, smooth, with a wall thickness of 1 to 2 mm and a weight of 10 to 12 grams. In technical maturity, they are green, while in biological maturity, they turn yellow. A distinctive feature of this variety is the extremely spicy flavor of the fruits, making it especially valuable for home cooking. EGOZA YELLOW pepper is recommended for pickling and marinating, which can diversify your diet and add a spicy touch to dishes.
For cultivation, seeds should be sown in seedlings in late February to early March at a depth of about 0.5 cm. Pinching is performed in the stage of 1-2 true leaves, and transplanting seedlings is carried out at the end of May. It is important to note that seedlings of hot and sweet pepper varieties should not be planted near each other to avoid cross-pollination, which may result in a bitter taste in sweet peppers.
