Pepper E20S0389

The Dutch Standard for Mini-Peppers

The E20С0389 hybrid from the Dutch breeder Enza Limited is a specialized solution for the premium snack pepper market. In professional horticulture, this variety targets the growing demand for convenient, bite-sized vegetables, combining agronomic efficiency with high consumer appeal.

Agronomic Profile and Performance

As an indeterminate variety, E20С0389 offers excellent flexibility for various growing systems, performing consistently in professional glass greenhouses as well as in open-field conditions. With a maturity cycle of 55–65 days, it enables growers to achieve a rapid turnover, which is essential for capturing early-season market pricing.

Enza Limited has engineered this hybrid with a robust defense system to protect against the most destructive viral pathogens that plague Solanaceae crops:

• Strong resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV).
• Proven resilience against Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV).
• Comprehensive protection against various viral mosaics, ensuring field health throughout the season.

The trapezoidal fruits, weighing 15–30 grams, are characterized by their uniformity in size and shape. This physical consistency is a key factor for logistics and pre-packing, allowing for efficient processing and presentation in flow-pack retail formats.

Why Choose E20С0389?

Investing in E20С0389 means prioritizing reliability and crop safety. The hybrid's genetic resistance significantly reduces the risk of crop loss caused by viral outbreaks, helping growers maintain both yield volume and aesthetic quality. Whether for industrial greenhouse operations or high-intensity field production, this hybrid offers a predictable, high-quality result that meets international market standards.
