Blondin

Sweet pepper Blondin — an ultraprecocious yellow-fruited hybrid developed by the breeding company Syngenta Seeds. This variety features a medium-height, compact plant with short internodes and even fruit set. Fruits have a cube-shaped form with four chambers, large size — diameter of 9–9.5 cm, length of about 10 cm, wall thickness of 7–8 mm, and average weight of 190–200 g. In technical ripeness, fruits are bone-colored, and in biological ripeness, they acquire a rich golden-yellow hue. The flesh is firm, juicy, with a distinct flavor and aroma.

The Blondin hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of viral diseases and tolerates temperature drops well, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The pepper can be successfully grown both in protected environments — greenhouses and under plastic cover — and in open ground. It demonstrates excellent adaptability and can withstand cold conditions during flowering, contributing to a stable yield.

The ripening period is 56–60 days from transplanting seedlings to the permanent location, enabling an early harvest. Fruits are well-suited for transport and maintain their market appearance for a long time during storage. The Blondin pepper is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and freezing, expanding its application in culinary and food industries.
