VLAD MEMORIAL PEONY

The 'Vlad Memorial' peony is a compact plant of the Japanese type, 80-90 cm tall, with erect, sturdy stems and medium foliage. The leaves are dark green and smooth, giving the bush a neat and decorative appearance. The flowers are single, spherical, of medium density, and about 18 cm in diameter. Their color is bright lilac-pink with a white sheen that does not fade in the sun, while the flower aroma is weak to medium in intensity. Usually, 1-2 flowers are found on one stem.

The variety is distinguished by high productivity and resistance: in the first year the plant can form up to 14 inflorescences, up to 16 in the second, and up to 27 in the third. The period from the beginning of vegetation to the beginning of flowering is about 48 days, and the decorative quality of the flowers lasts for 14-16 days. Flowering begins in late June, making this peony an excellent choice for decorating early-flowering flower beds.

'Vlad Memorial' is undemanding in care and highly resistant to diseases, pests, unfavorable weather conditions, as well as winter hardiness, drought resistance, and heat tolerance. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is recommended for growing in gardens and home plots, as well as for cutting in steppe and forest-steppe zones. Its sturdy stems and attractive appearance make this peony an excellent decorative element for flower beds and bouquets.
