The Peony Suzy Q is a herbaceous perennial hybrid variety developed in the USA in 1972. The plant grows to a height of 60 to 75 cm and features sturdy stems that require support due to the weight of its large double flowers, which measure approximately 15-17 cm in diameter. The flowers have a rose-like shape and a light pink color that fades to a delicate pale pink shade in sunlight. Side buds can reach up to four, ensuring a long-lasting bloom in the mid-to-late season. The leaves are medium green, narrow, and small, giving the plant a neat and elegant appearance.

The Peony Suzy Q prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations for planting and thrives in open areas with dappled light. It is resistant to diseases and rarely suffers from pest attacks, making it easy to care for. The plant is suitable for single plantings, group compositions, and mixed borders, harmoniously combining with clematis, phlox, and roses.
