Peony Koketka

Paeonia 'Cocktail' is a interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing P. officinalis var. banatica and P. lactiflora 'President Taff'. This non-double peony features cup-shaped flowers of light pink hue (RHS 73-A), with petals slightly wavy in texture. The flowers are large, reaching up to 18-20 cm in diameter, giving the plant a striking and attractive appearance. In some years, the petals may develop a crinkled texture, adding extra decorative appeal.

Paeonia 'Cocktail' plants are semi-spreading, with sturdy multi-stemmed stems reaching heights of 95 to 120 cm. The leaves are light green, harmoniously complementing the delicate color of the flowers. Due to their tall and dense structure, the plants look especially impressive when covered in numerous blooms. This variety is classified as early-flowering — blooming typically begins at the end of May, allowing one to enjoy its beauty at the start of the season.

Paeonia 'Cocktail' is ideal for cultivation in gardens and parks where early blooming and decorative appeal are prized. Its large, light pink flowers with wavy petals create a delicate and elegant appearance, while the robust bush ensures good resilience and prolonged decorative period. This variety will be a splendid addition to any flowerbed, attracting attention with its beauty and early blooming.
