Peony GLORY HALLELUJAH PEONY

A standout performer for any landscape

Glory Hallelujah is a classic herbaceous peony breed, developed by the Federal Research Center for Horticulture, known for its resilience and massive blooms. Unlike many fragile imported varieties, this peony thrives in harsh climates, easily surviving temperatures as low as -35°C. It is the perfect choice for gardeners who prioritize reliability alongside decorative appeal.

Aesthetic profile

The 20 cm fully double, pink flower creates an impressive visual impact. As a mid-season bloomer, it peaks from late May to mid-June, filling the gap between early and late-flowering varieties. Standing at 80 cm, the bush is compact yet sturdy enough to serve as a focal point in a garden bed or a structured hedge.

Key cultivation tips

• Cut flower potential: The strong, upright stems make Glory Hallelujah a premium choice for floristry. Its blooms maintain their shape and freshness in a vase for up to 12 days.
• Light requirement: This variety is extremely light-demanding. To achieve the signature large, dense double blooms, it must be planted in full sun.
• Maintenance: Due to the sheer weight of the heavy blossoms, the plant benefits from structural support during the peak flowering stage, especially after rainfall, to prevent the stems from bending.

Glory Hallelujah is an ideal solution for those seeking a low-maintenance, winter-hardy perennial that produces exhibition-grade, large-scale flowers. Whether you are looking for a showstopper for your garden or a high-quality cut flower for commercial use, this variety delivers consistent results.
