The Peony variety "Iremel" is an upright, semi-spreading bush with strong foliage, reaching a height of about 65 cm and a diameter of up to 75 cm. The leaves are green and smooth, while the flower stalks are of medium strength, up to 75 cm tall, bearing 2 to 4 large flowers. The total number of stems is 18-19, of which 12-13 are generative. The bush is moderately growing, which ensures its compactness and decorativeness.
The flowers of the Peony "Iremel" are bright pink, densely double, spherical in shape, up to 16 cm in diameter and about 8 cm in height. They have medium aromaticity, fade slightly in the sun, and shed little, making them especially attractive for cutting. The flowering is late but abundant, lasting about 15-20 days, which allows enjoying the beauty of the flowers for a long time.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases and pests, as well as winter hardiness, drought resistance and heat tolerance. Thanks to these qualities, "Iremel" is universal and recommended for growing in the central region of Russia and other regions with different climatic conditions. It does not bear fruit, which is characteristic of many decorative peony varieties, and is well suited both for garden growing and for cutting, providing productivity of up to 8 flowers per bush.
