COLIBRI is a fringed pelargonium (Pelargonium crispum) characterized by compact growth and vibrant colors, suitable both for potted plants and garden beds. The plant reaches a height of about 30–40 cm and a width of approximately 26–28 cm, making it an ideal choice for balconies, terraces, and small gazebos. The leaves are dark green, fan-shaped with wavy edges, giving the plant a decorative appearance even during non-flowering periods.
The pelargonium flower stalks are sturdy and capable of withstanding moderate shedding. The inflorescences are spherical, with a diameter of 3–5 cm, and contain up to 166 individual pink flowers with pinkish-raspberry spots. The flowering period lasts from 80 to 90 days, ensuring a prolonged decorative effect throughout spring and summer.
COLIBRI is easy to grow as both a houseplant and outdoors, provided moderate lighting and a light, fluffy soil are maintained. The plant does not require intensive watering and tolerates minor temperature fluctuations well, though it is best to provide shade during periods of intense heat. Thanks to its versatility and vibrant appearance, COLIBRI will be an excellent accent in garden vases, as well as on a window sill or balcony.
