Pelargonium CLOUD

Technical Specifications of the 'Oblachko' Variety

Developed by the Federal Research Center for Subtropical Science (Russia), the 'Oblachko' pelargonium variety is engineered for consistent phenotypic expression. With a flowering cycle of 90–120 days, it provides predictable growth patterns for both horticultural professionals and home gardeners.

Key Botanical Features

• Floral Morphology: The variety produces pure white blossoms measuring 5–6 cm in diameter. The pigmentation remains stable under high UV exposure, preventing premature discoloration in outdoor environments.
• Foliage Dynamics: The leaves are characterized by a classic rounded shape and a vibrant green color. A distinct technical feature of this variety is the heavy concentration of essential oil glands in the leaf tissue, resulting in a robust, persistent scent.
• Environmental Plasticity: Designed for dual-purpose use, 'Oblachko' thrives in both open-field conditions and indoor container settings. This versatility is supported by a resilient root structure capable of adapting to varying soil moisture levels and light intensities.

In practice, 'Oblachko' is an excellent candidate for landscape projects requiring reliable color consistency and structural integrity. Due to the intensity of the leaf aroma, it is recommended to consider placement density when using this variety in confined interior spaces.
