Pelargonium CORALL

Pelargonium 'Korall': The Choice for Resilience and Form

In the world of ornamental plants, the 'Korall' variety stands out for its structural integrity and botanical reliability. Developed by the Federal Research Centre for Subtropical Science, this variety was engineered with a focus on adaptability to outdoor conditions, distinguishing it from many greenhouse-reliant commercial hybrids.

Key Features and Growth Habit

The core appeal of 'Korall' lies in its natural bush-like growth habit. Unlike trailing or sprawling types that often require staking or constant pruning, this variety maintains a compact, self-supporting structure. Its dense, deep green foliage provides a balanced aesthetic that makes the blooms pop, whether in a garden bed or a container.

• Outdoor Adaptability: Specifically bred to thrive outside, it offers a robust performance where others might struggle with erratic weather.
• Versatility: Ideally suited for balconies, window boxes, and open ground installations.
• Stable Genetics: As a result of professional breeding, the plant shows consistent growth patterns, ensuring a uniform look for landscaping projects.

Who is this variety for?

'Korall' is the optimal choice for landscape designers and home gardeners who prioritize low-maintenance elegance. It bridges the gap between high-maintenance exotic cultivars and simple, generic bedding plants. If you need a specimen that maintains its shape throughout the season, is forgiving with standard irrigation cycles, and adds consistent color to your patio or balcony, 'Korall' provides a dependable solution. It removes the guesswork from garden planning, offering professional results without the need for intensive daily attention.
