Pelargonium 'Malinka' is a perennial indoor plant that is easy to grow both indoors and in open spaces such as a veranda, balcony, or hanging baskets. The shrub is compact, reaching a height of about 30 cm and a diameter of approximately 35 cm, adorned with decorative leaves featuring bright variegated coloring.
The flowers of 'Malinka' attract attention with their unusual color: on the front side they transition from an orange-white shade to a soft orange on the back. Blooming is abundant, and the bud size is large, making the plant especially attractive for balcony greening and hanging planters.
For successful growth, the pelargonium requires a bright location and moderate watering: more frequent but not overwatered during warm months; moderate in winter. Soil should be fertile with good drainage, preferably a mix of sand, peat, vermiculite, and perlite. The plant thrives in partial shade or with protection from direct sunlight on hot days. It can be fertilized with mineral fertilizers enriched with potassium to maintain the brightness of the coloring and the health of the plant.
