Viola 'Yashma' – one of the most popular varieties of pelargonium, bred by breeder N. Berdnikova. The plant is distinguished by its compact size: the rosette has a semi-miniature appearance, making it convenient for placement on a windowsill or shelf. Leaves of a medium green shade have variegation and a border structure, giving the plant a decorative texture.
The flowers of the Viola 'Yashma' are striking for their brightness: a pale-pink color with green veining, a wide light-burgundy border, and characteristic 'fantasy' speckles. Petals have a ruffled edge and additional petals from the center, making the flowers especially expressive. The intensity of the color is maintained even at moderate lighting.
Care of the plant is simple: the viola prefers bright but diffused light and an air temperature from 18 to 25 °C. Watering should be done regularly, but not too often – it is better to wait for the top layer of the soil to dry. To maintain growth and flowering, feeding is recommended every two weeks. Remove old leaves and withered flowers annually to stimulate new growth and ensure prolonged flowering.
