Pelargonium SOFT CARAMEL

Operational Use in Landscaping

The "Nezhnaya Karamely" (Tender Caramel) pelargonium is a hybrid developed by the Subtropical Scientific Center of the RAS. It is specifically bred for durability in open field conditions, maintaining a consistent bushy habit that minimizes the need for pruning or shaping.

Best Practices for Cultivation

• Mass Landscaping and Borders: Its stable, bushy growth pattern makes it an excellent candidate for uniform flower beds and borders, maintaining aesthetic integrity throughout the season.
• Extended Flowering Cycle: With a blooming period of 120–150 days, this variety ensures a long-lasting visual impact, which is a major advantage for commercial landscape projects that require low-maintenance, high-reward floral displays.
• Container and Terrace Utility: The combination of lush green, round leaves and bi-colored flowers makes it highly desirable for container gardening, allowing for easy mobility and immediate visual interest on outdoor patios.

For agricultural operations, this variety stands out due to its predictable growth rate. It does not require intensive growth management to maintain its structure. When planting, priority should be given to soil aeration; while the variety is robust, good drainage is key to preventing root stress. This hybrid is a strategic choice for growers seeking a reliable, long-blooming crop that integrates well into both public urban spaces and private garden designs.
