New late-summer dessert and canned pear variety selected by the Dagestan Fruit Tree Selection Experimental Station (breeders Alibekov T. B. and Matasova E. P.), created through geographically distant hybridization of the Western European variety Williams with the local Dagestan variety Gimrinskaya.
Widely grown in the foothill fruit zone of Dagestan, it is recommended for all fruit zones and subzones of the Dagestan Republic.
Medium-sized tree; young trees have a narrow-pyramidal crown, mature trees have a broad-pyramidal crown. Predominant fruit formation type: simple and complex rings.
Shoots are long, thick, jointed, round in cross-section, dark red. Leaves are medium-sized, elongated, elliptical, smooth, green, with finely serrated margins, long and thin petioles; stipules are large, elongated, lanceolate.
Fruits are above-average size, average fruit weight 170-192 g, maximum 300-350 g, elongated-pear-shaped, smooth surface, with yellow base color and bright red attractive skin. Peduncle is medium length and thickness. Calyx is small, closed or half-closed. Sub-calyx tube is wide, shallow, vase-shaped. Seed chambers are small and closed. Seeds are medium-sized, pointed-oval, brown. Central cavity is almost absent or very narrow.
Flesh is light-cream, juicy, melting, oily, harmonious sweet-sour flavor, excellent dessert quality (5 points). Chemical composition: dry matter — 14.4%, total sugars — 9.2%, titratable acids — 0.36%, ascorbic acid — 8.5 mg/100g.
Ripening period is late summer (harvesting from August 22-25). Storage period — 15 days.
Fruits are mainly consumed fresh.
Best pollinators: Williams, Klappa's Favorite, Bere Bosk. Early-bearing, starts fruiting at 5-6 years, high and regular yield (150-200 centners/ha). In Dagestan, winter hardiness is high, resistant to fungal diseases.

Disadvantages of the variety: insufficient compatibility with apricots.
