Klinskii

The peanut variety 'Klinский' is early-maturing and was developed by the Institute of Southern Vegetable and Melon Growing of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine. Cultivated since 2002, this variety is characterized by high yield, adaptability to various climatic conditions, and ease of care. The plant has a compact bush form with branched stems reaching 40 to 60 cm in height, and its dark green, pinnately compound leaves give the crop an ornamental appearance.

The peanuts of the 'Klinский' variety have a smooth light-brown shell and contain 40 to 60% high-quality edible oil, making them a valuable raw material for the food industry. The seeds contain approximately 35% protein and 15–20% carbohydrates. Peanut oil has flavor characteristics similar to olive oil and is widely used in the canned, confectionery, soap-making industries, and in medicine. Roasted peanuts are consumed as a snack, while peanut meal, containing 45% protein and 8% oil, is used to produce halva, biscuits, chocolate, and other food products.

The high adaptability of the 'Klinский' variety to various soil types and climatic conditions, along with its disease resistance, makes this peanut a universal choice for cultivation in Ukraine and countries with temperate climates. Due to its combination of high yield, quality of the product, and ease of agronomy, this variety is popular among gardeners and farmers.
