Seedling of 3rd-4th generation from own seed. Selected in 2000 by L.A. Kramarenko. Originator — Main Botanical Garden. Included in the State Register in 2004 for the Central Region.
Tree 3-4 m tall with moderate growth vigor. One-year shoots branched. Flowers medium-sized (3-3.2 cm), white. Fruit set on all types of shoots.
Fruits large, averaging 30 g, round, surface slightly uneven, very beautiful and shiny due to slight pubescence, orange with a strong bright blush. Flesh bright orange, firm, juicy, very tasty, tasting score 5 points. Chemical composition: dry matter 16.9%, sugars 10.4%, titratable acids 1.8%, potassium content 300 mg/100g. Pit small (8.0%), separates easily. Fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, and make high-quality jams and compotes. Good storability.
Grafted plants enter fruiting stage on the 3rd-4th year after grafting. Fruit ripening is late, similar to Monastery. Yield is average. Good winter and cold hardiness.
A drawback of this variety, like Monastery, is the late fruit ripening. In years with cold rainy summers, fruits do not ripen and remain unripe on trees in September.
