Peach Pajalade

Pajalad Peach: French Breeding for Commercial Orchards

The French company AC Fruit — Association Creation Fruitiere S.A.S. introduced the Pajalad variety as a high-performance solution for modern fruit producers. In a market where quality and transportability are paramount, this peach stands out due to its firm flesh and excellent shelf life.

Key Technical Specifications

The tree exhibits medium vigor, reaching a height of 3 meters, which simplifies pruning and harvesting operations. Producers can expect their first commercial yield within 3 to 4 years of planting. Key fruit attributes:

• Marketability: A perfect round shape combined with an attractive red skin, which is highly appreciated by consumers.
• Quality: Each fruit weighs between 180 and 200 grams, offering a sweet flavor profile and juicy yet resilient flesh that minimizes bruising during handling.

Professional Advantages and Cultivation

The core strength of the Pajalad variety is its ability to maintain structural integrity during transit without compromising on juiciness. For growers, this means reduced post-harvest losses and higher profitability. It is particularly well-suited for intensive orchard setups, where consistent tree size and predictable harvest timing are critical for operational efficiency.

While highly productive, Pajalad requires standard intensive orchard management, including consistent irrigation and fertilization, to reach its full weight potential of 200 grams. For farmers aiming for a reliable, professional-grade product backed by French genetic research, Pajalad is a strategic asset.
