Pea BIATHLON

Pea (Pisum sativum) variety Biathlon is a medium-maturing leafless variety distinguished by its high resistance to lodging and shattering. This variety is recommended for cultivation in regions with suitable climatic conditions, ensuring stable and high-quality production.

One of the key characteristics of the Biathlon variety is its high protein content in the grain, reaching 23.9-26%, making it valuable for use in the food and feed industries. The maximum yield of the variety can reach 62.3 centners per hectare, indicating its high productivity and efficiency from an agronomic perspective.

The variety possesses resistance to ascoshitis on leaves, which contributes to maintaining plant health and reducing crop losses. However, the variety is susceptible to this disease on pods and seeds, which requires careful monitoring and the application of appropriate agronomic measures to protect crops.
