SIBIRSKAYA MELODIYA

Ordinary Oregano "Sibirskaya Melodiya" – a perennial plant of the Lamiaceae family, which is grown as a decorative plant from the first year and begins to yield greens from the second year. Green mass is harvested after 53‑55 days from mass regrowth to the beginning of flowering, which ensures an optimal balance between growth and aroma.

The plant has a branched structure, is well-leafed, and is about 45–65 cm tall. Leaves are elongated-oval in shape with a smooth edge, bright green without a waxy coating, which makes them attractive both in the garden and in the kitchen. Flowers are small, light-purple, adding decorativeness.

The yield of green mass is about 3.2 kg/m², and the mass of one plant is about 480 g. Thanks to the pleasant smell and spiciness, oregano "Sibirskaya Melodiya" gives dishes an exquisite spicy taste, which makes it a popular ingredient in cooking.
