Onion Phoenix

Crop Stability with Agrootima

The «Phoenix» onion by Agrootima is a choice for growers who prioritize a balance between early maturity and market appeal. In the face of unstable climatic conditions, this salad-type variety demonstrates excellent survivability, reaching technical maturity in up to 90 days. Its primary strength lies in intensive bulb development even under moderate agronomic conditions.

Agronomic Advantages

Unlike many mid-season varieties, «Phoenix» offers farmers a clear yield potential: from 70 to 100 tons per hectare. This is a significant figure that requires high-quality irrigation and precise fertilization. The bulb shape is classic and round, which simplifies mechanical harvesting and packaging processes significantly.

• Peel color: a rich, dark bronze that gives the product a premium and attractive look for retail shelves.
• Usage: a salad-type variety prized by consumers for its mild flavor and crispness.
• Harvesting: high degree of maturity uniformity across the entire field.

The plasticity of this variety is its core strength. It is well-adapted to Ukrainian soil types, minimizing risks during crop rotation. However, it is essential to note that the top-end yields (up to 100 tons) are only achieved under intensive farming practices. For farms seeking a stable, marketable product for retail chains, «Phoenix» is a reliable instrument for ensuring high profitability.
