Description SAPRILLO
Saprillo is a mid-late variety of onion intended for growing bulbs in a one-year culture from seeds. The bulbs have a round shape and weigh from 100 to 130 grams. The dry skins are brown, while the juicy parts are white. The neck of the plant is of medium thickness and has two embryos, which promotes good bulb maturation. The onion taste is semi-sharp, making it versatile for various culinary purposes.

The variety is characterized by high marketable yield, which ranges from 257 to 376 centners per hectare, which is 40 centners higher than such standards as Lugansk and Leone. The maximum yield recorded in the Stavropol region reaches 625 centners per hectare. Bulb maturation before harvesting is 89%, and after after-ripening it is 98%, ensuring high quality and long storage of the product.

Saprillo is characterized by high resistance to diseases and a low degree of vulnerability to pests, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers. The variety is recommended for growing in various climatic conditions, especially in the North Caucasus region. The producer of this variety is the company AGRO-TIP HANDELS UND CONSULTINGGES MBH from Germany, which guarantees high quality of the seed material.
