  • Early hybrid of winter onion of Japanese type
  • Sowing: mid to late August — early September
  • Marketable bulb forms at the end of May — beginning of June
  • Intended for obtaining very early fresh market produce (for full bulb, half-bulb, as well as marketable onion with storage potential)
  • Strong plant with well-developed dark green leafy canopy, strong waxy coating, and robust root system
  • From mid-May rapidly forms round-shaped bulbs, uniform, with golden scales, diameter 65-80 mm, weight 140-200 g
  • Good resistance to spring bolting, enhanced winter cold tolerance (down to -20 °C)
  • Adapted to grow under all soil-climatic conditions in Ukraine, best results achieved in Southern Ukraine using drip irrigation systems
  • Recommended seeding rate: marketable bulb — 1.0-1.5 million seeds per hectare; half-bulb — 2.5-3.0 million seeds per hectare; full bulb — 4.0-6.0 million seeds per hectare
