Onion FEODAL

A Reliable Choice for Processing and Fresh Markets

The «Feodal» onion variety from Agrofirma Aelita is a strategic choice for growers targeting consistent performance in the mid-late maturity segment. With a growing season of 110 to 120 days, this variety is well-suited for temperate regions, ensuring high-quality, fully matured bulbs by the time peak market demand arrives.

Practical Application

Agricultural enterprises favor this hybrid due to its versatility and robustness in industrial applications:

• Processing: The dense texture and balanced dry matter content make it an excellent raw material for drying, freezing, and manufacturing semi-finished products. The bulb maintains its integrity during high-speed mechanical peeling and cutting.
• Fresh Market: Its uniform, round shape is ideal for automated handling and retail packaging. The culinary profile makes it suitable for fresh consumption, providing farmers with reliable sales channels in supermarket chains.

Agronomic Performance

The variety shows predictable developmental dynamics. Under standard cultivation practices, the bulbs reach a market weight of 80 to 120 grams, hitting the industry standard for consumer-packaged goods. The rounded shape ensures an attractive appearance while minimizing waste during post-harvest preparation.

«Feodal» serves as a practical tool for commercial farming where reliability is key. It strikes a balance between high yield and good storage life, allowing producers the flexibility to either sell immediately after harvest or store the product for later distribution. It is an efficient, low-risk variety for large-scale operations.
