Description
ESAYUL is a late-maturing hybrid of bulb onion with a vegetation period of 110 to 125 days. The bulbs have a round shape, are dense, weigh from 80 to 160 grams, have dry brown skins, and juicy white flesh with a greenish tint. The neck is of medium thickness, single- or two-cambium. The onion has a semi-sharp taste, making it versatile for various culinary purposes.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 75 tons per hectare, and good storage capacity—the bulbs retain their quality for up to 4-5 months after harvest. ESAYUL is resistant to neck rot and powdery mildew, and withstands spring frosts well, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The onion is frost-resistant and drought-resistant, but requires fertile soil and sufficient moisture during the active growth of the leaf apparatus and bulb formation.
For cultivation, a one-year crop from seeds is recommended, with sowing for seedlings in March and transplanting into open ground in early May. The planting scheme is 5-7 by 10-15 centimeters.
