DORONYA

Shallot onions of the DORONYA variety are an early-maturing variety intended for bulb cultivation in a two-year culture from sets. This variety is included in the State Registry of the Russian Federation and is recommended for cultivation in personal subsidiary holdings. The bulbs have a round shape and a dense structure, with an average mass of one bulb of about 167 grams. The dry skins are colored dark red with a brownish tint, while the fleshy skins have a light pink color, giving the onion an attractive appearance.

The number of dry skins varies from three to four, which contributes to good storage of the bulbs. Five to seven bulbs form in one bulbil, indicating the high germination potential of the variety. The thin onion neck facilitates the harvesting and storage process. The onion has a semi-sharp taste, making it versatile for various culinary applications.

The DORONYA variety is characterized by high maturity: before harvest, it reaches 94%, and after maturation, it reaches 100%. The bulb onion yield is about 3.3 kilograms per square meter, making this variety attractive to gardeners and farmers looking to obtain a high-quality and abundant harvest.
