Onion Coreon 1

Designed for Processing and Fresh Market Efficiency

The «Coreon 1» onion from I.C.S. Choice Farm S.R.L. (Moldova) is a specialized hybrid designed for growers looking for a balance between early maturity and high-quality yield. With a 90–100 day growth cycle, it is a strategic choice for operations prioritizing both the fresh salad market and industrial processing sectors.

Agronomic and Operational Advantages

The primary strength of «Coreon 1» lies in its ability to produce a robust, round-shaped bulb with a high-density structure. This physical integrity is crucial for mechanized harvesting, significantly reducing damage to the protective scales that is often the root cause of post-harvest quality degradation.

• For Industrial Processing: Its uniform, round shape and firm texture make it an ideal candidate for automated peeling and slicing machines, which leads to lower waste percentages in mass-production environments.
• For Fresh Retail: «Coreon 1» possesses the consistent visual appeal and culinary quality required for supermarket chains, ensuring a steady supply throughout its harvest window.

Developed by originator Son Hyun-Chul in partnership with I.C.S. Choice Farm S.R.L., this hybrid is engineered to meet the demands of modern agriculture. By focusing on predictability and uniform sizing, «Coreon 1» helps farms maintain high standards of marketable produce per hectare, directly supporting profit margins in competitive growing conditions.
