BURSA

BURSA — a late hybrid of bulb onion with a vegetation period of 110 to 120 days, suitable for cultivation in open ground. The bulbs have a round shape, uniform size, and dense, rich bronze-colored outer scales. Each bulb weighs 100 to 150 grams, ensuring ease of harvest and marketing.

This hybrid is characterized by high drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in regions with limited rainfall. The onion foliage is covered with a light waxy coating, which helps preserve plant quality and simplifies care. BURSA tolerates herbicide treatments and is suitable for mechanical harvesting at full maturity, significantly simplifying the harvesting process.

The main advantage of this hybrid is the ability to store bulbs for up to 9 months under proper conditions, enabling the marketing of the product both fresh and after long-term storage. Its high yield potential, exceeding 90-100 tons per hectare, makes BURSA an advantageous choice for commercial cultivation and sales.
