Onion MOTION

Motion onion is a hybrid variety developed by Syngenta, intended for cultivation under long-day conditions. The vegetative period of this onion ranges from 115 to 125 days, allowing for a stable and high yield. Yield potential reaches 75–85 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for commercial production.

Motion onion bulbs have a round shape and are characterized by uniformity, which facilitates sorting and packaging. The outer scale is very dense, dark brown with a bronze sheen, giving the onion an attractive appearance and contributing to its long-term storage capability. This variety is specifically designed for storage up to 8 months, during which it does not sprout, significantly extending its commercial usability.
