Antelope F1

Antelope F1 is a medium-maturing, high-yielding hybrid of long-day Spanish-type bulb onion, successfully adapted to the conditions of Ukraine and Moldova. It is intended for direct seeding into open ground, where the bulb forms within a single growing season. The maturation period is approximately 115 days, allowing for a stable harvest at optimal times. The recommended seeding rate is 1 million seeds per hectare.

Antelope F1 bulbs have an elongated-round shape, distinguished by high uniformity in size and form. They vary from medium to large, with weights ranging from 130 to 300 grams, occasionally reaching 700 grams. The outer scales are a rich dark-bronze color, while the flesh is white. The onion features a dense structure and a fine neck, ensuring good scale adherence and facilitating long-term storage. Its high dry matter content makes this hybrid especially valuable for processing, drying, and transportation.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to bolting and various types of rot, including basal fusarium rot and pink root rot. These traits make Antelope F1 a reliable choice for mechanized harvesting and long-term storage. Due to its characteristics, the onion is suitable for both fresh market sales and industrial processing, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
