Yantar

Yantar onion is a mid-season hybrid of bulb onion recommended for growing as a bulb in an annual culture from seeds. This variety is characterized by a round bulb weighing from 70 to 90 grams, with brown dry skins and white juicy layers. The onion has a two-bud neck of medium thickness and possesses a semi-sharp taste, making it universal for various culinary applications.

Yantar is included in the State Register for the Central and Lower Volga regions, confirming its adaptability to these climatic conditions. The commercial yield of the variety ranges from 295 to 400 centners per hectare, corresponding to the standards of such well-known varieties as Chalcedony and Manas F1. The maximum yield recorded in the Volgograd region reaches 1268 centners per hectare. The maturity of the onion before harvesting is 82%, and after curing, it reaches 100%, ensuring high quality and preservation of the harvest.
