Description BAKS
BAKS — this is an early, high-yielding cucumber hybrid with a maturity period of 50-55 days, primarily intended for cultivation in greenhouses, including plastic and winter greenhouses. Plants are vigorous with an indeterminate growth type, main stem length reaching 3.0-3.5 meters, and average branching capacity. The hybrid is distinguished by enhanced shade tolerance and resistance to powdery mildew, making it resilient to adverse conditions and contributing to stable yields. BAKS cucumber fruits have a cylindrical shape with a small "handle" at the base, measuring 20-22 cm in length, 4.0-4.5 cm in diameter, and weighing from 126 to 210 grams. The fruits have dark green skin with light stripes, a large-bumpy surface with sparse white spines and complex pubescence. The taste quality of the fruits is high, making them ideal for fresh consumption, especially in salads. The BAKS hybrid is bee-pollinated and has high marketability — around 85%. Yield is 6-7 kg per plant or 18.4-33.3 kg per square meter. The plant forms 1-3 female flowers per node, contributing to high productivity. For cultivation, a planting scheme of 50x70 cm is recommended, and sowing and transplanting dates vary from April to June depending on conditions. Due to its characteristics, BAKS is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouse conditions.
