Cucumber Obilny

Cucumber variety "Obilny" is an early-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation in open fields, greenhouses, and under temporary film cover. The plant is indeterminate with long vines and strong branching, which contributes to high yield and stable fruiting over an extended period. The vegetative period is approximately 45 days, enabling an early harvest.

Fruits of the "Obilny" variety have an ellipsoidal shape, measuring 10-12 cm in length and weighing up to 125 g. They are dark green with prominent bumps and clearly visible light green stripes, giving them an attractive appearance. The cucumbers are distinguished by their excellent flavor and versatility: they are suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning.

The variety exhibits good resistance to most diseases, ensuring a stable and high yield — from 110 to 510 centners per hectare or 2.2-3 kg per square meter. However, it is susceptible to false powdery mildew, requiring careful attention during care. Due to its adaptability to various climatic conditions and disease resistance, "Obilny" is a reliable choice for gardeners aiming to obtain high-quality, abundant cucumber yields.
