Description
Cucumber variety KING is a high-yielding, bee-pollinated hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. This mid-early maturing variety matures in 45-50 days after sowing, allowing for an early harvest. Its distinguishing feature is predominantly female flowering, which promotes the formation of a large number of fruits.
The fruits of cucumber KING measure 8-10 cm in length and weigh 35-90 grams, depending on growing conditions. The fruits are large, ribbed, with small seed chambers, exhibiting a rich green color and crisp texture. The taste is pleasant and free of bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and canning due to their excellent pickling qualities.
The variety is highly resistant to diseases and stressful conditions, including temperature fluctuations, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield even with minimal care. Thanks to these characteristics, cucumber KING is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking delicious, crisp fruits with good storage life and versatile use.
