Cucumber BOYARSKIY

Cucumber Boyarskiy is a mid-early hybrid variety characterized by high yield and stable fruiting. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 45-48 days, allowing for early harvest both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. Fruits reach a length of 10-12 cm, have a dark green color, large and sparse bumps with white spines. They do not yellow, possess crisp and juicy flesh without bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption and all types of processing. The Boyarskiy hybrid demonstrates high adaptability and resistance to several diseases, including olive spot and viral infections. It also has moderate resistance to bacterial blight, anthracnose, and ascochytosis, significantly simplifying care and reducing the risk of crop loss. The cucumber is shade-tolerant and low-maintenance, but requires careful adherence to agronomic practices to achieve maximum productivity. For cultivation, seeds are sown to a depth of up to 2 cm in warm soil, and seedlings are transplanted into the ground after the threat of frost has passed. Fruits weigh 65-85 grams, retain their market quality for a long time, and withstand transportation well. Thanks to their flavor and versatility, cucumber Boyarskiy enjoys well-deserved popularity among gardeners and is suitable for both home cultivation and commercial production.
