Cucumber variety VALDAI is a new early-maturing hybrid with a period from germination to fruiting of 48-50 days. This bee-pollinated hybrid, predominantly female-flowering, is intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary film coverings. Plants are vigorous with moderate branching capacity, ensuring good development and high yield.

The fruits of VALDAI cucumber are short, 10-11 cm long and weighing 90-100 g, cylindrical in shape and green with characteristic white stripes. The skin is covered with large bumps and black hairs. The taste qualities of the fruits are high, making this variety especially attractive for processing, including pickling and marinating.

The hybrid shows relatively good resistance to root rot, true and false powdery mildew, and can tolerate unfavorable growing conditions. Recommended planting density is 4-5 plants per square meter, enabling a yield of up to 5 kg per plant.
