Oat Kuzma Nosivskyi

Stability and Quality: The Heritage of the Nosivka Research Station

The «Kuzma Nosivskyi» oat variety represents the result of extensive breeding efforts by the Nosivka Research Station of the Institute of Agriculture of Polissya NAAS. This variety emerged as a response to the agricultural sector's demand for a crop that balances high yields with the plasticity required to adapt to the variable climatic conditions of Ukraine.

Agronomic Profile and Versatility

This variety is classified as a multipurpose grain crop. Its market success is driven by its dual-purpose nature: food and feed production. High nutritional grain metrics make it highly sought after in animal husbandry, while its physical and chemical properties meet the stringent standards of the processing industry.

• Feed Usage: The balanced amino acid composition ensures high energy value for animal feed formulations.
• Food Usage: Meets the industrial requirements for processing into oatmeal, flour, and other food derivatives, ensuring consistent demand.

The reputation of this variety is built on harvest reliability. «Kuzma Nosivskyi» demonstrates robustness against primary pathogens prevalent in the Polissya and Forest-Steppe zones, minimizing production risks. Farmers value this oat for its dependability; it is predictable in terms of agronomy and does not require overly expensive specialized cultivation technologies, making it an economically efficient asset in any crop rotation system.
