Nectarine "Krasnodarets" – the result of the work of breeders of the Crimean Experimental and Selection Station of the All-Russian Research Institute of Horticulture, obtained from free pollination of the Lola variety. Medium-sized tree with a round crown of medium density, straight shoots and lance-shaped leaves of dark green color, smooth and glossy. The edges of the leaves are slightly serrated, and the petiole is short, which ensures a compact and neat appearance of the plant.
The fruits are small, weighing about 40–50 g, oval-round in shape with a medium-depth abdominal suture. The skin is orange-yellow, covered with bright red blurred stripes and dots, occupying more than half of the fruit surface, without hair, dense and glossy. The funnel is deep but not too wide; the top of the fruit is slightly indented. The flesh is yellow, very juicy, tendervellous, with moderate aroma and sweet taste. The stone is of medium size and easily separates from the flesh.
The variety is characterized by universality: it can be eaten fresh or used for winter preparations. It is self-fertile, has medium resistance to curl and clasterosporium, weak protection against powdery mildew, but tolerates moderate drought well and has medium winter hardiness. Yield is high, and the ripening period is early – fruits are usually ready by the end of July. Thanks to the combination of taste qualities, texture and resistance to unfavorable conditions, "Krasnodarets" is a popular choice for both gardeners and consumers who value fresh and juicy fruit.
