Description Kampino
Kampino carrot is a high-yielding mid-early type of Shantane with a vegetation period from germination to maturity of 100–110 days. The roots are conical with a blunt tip and small core, ensuring uniformity and attractive appearance. Their rich orange color is retained both externally and internally, with weight ranging from 100 to 200 grams, length of 12–15 cm, and diameter of 4–6 cm. The tops are dark green and reach up to 40 cm in height.

This variety is distinguished by high resistance to cracking and breakage, allowing for mechanical harvesting without loss of yield quality. Due to these characteristics, Kampino is ideal for processing, canning, freezing, and fresh market sales. Additionally, the carrots store well until March–April, making them convenient for long-term storage.

The flesh of Kampino is very juicy and sweet, with high sugar and carotene content, giving it excellent taste qualities. These properties make the variety ideal for juice and puree preparation. Kampino successfully grows in various regions and is produced in Germany, confirming its adaptability and quality.
