Carrot Kupalov F1

Carrot Kupalov F1 — a late-maturing hybrid of the Chantenay type, developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. This variety is distinguished by high yield and excellent taste qualities, as well as resistance to several diseases, including cercospora, alternaria, and black rot. The roots have a conical shape, smooth and even, with a vibrant orange color, weighing from 120 to 400 grams. Due to its resistance to cracking and breakage, carrots can be harvested using specialized machinery, simplifying the harvesting process.

Kupalov F1 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including spring and summer, and grows well in moist, light soils with low acidity, free of weeds. When densely sown, the roots are smaller, while sparse planting produces larger roots. The vegetative period ranges from 105 to 135 days depending on weather conditions, and yields reach 50-60 tons per hectare. The recommended planting rate is 0.7 to 1.0 million seeds per hectare.

Harvested carrots retain their market appearance and taste qualities for a long time, making them ideal for long-term storage. They are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, thermal processing, juice production, purees, vegetable mixes, as well as freezing and canning. Due to its adaptability and disease resistance, the Kupalov F1 variety is excellent for both professional cultivation and home gardens, including beginner gardeners.
